Satnam Lalli is the recipient of the Alumni Builder Award from the University of British Columbia. The award was presented by Michael Coughtrie BSc(Hons) PhD FCAHS Professor and Dean of Pharmaceutical Sciences. It was presented to Satnam for his service, dedication and contribution to UBC and its alumni community and his significant community involvement through his pharmacies.

Created exclusively to commemorate the 100th year of alumni UBC, the Alumni Builder Award recognizes a cross section of alumni representing all faculties who have significantly contributed to the University and enriched the lives of others, and in doing so, have supported alumni UBC’s mission of realizing the promise of a global community with shared ambition of a better world and an exceptional UBC.

Community has always been Satnam’s number one focus. Through mentoring his fellow owners and staff he has instilled the importance of giving back to the community. Whether it is corporate charity partners or local schools and non profit groups – they are all important and have far reaching benefits that positively impact so many.
